Brazilian Content delegation already has 36 production companies confirmed for MIPCOM 2018For the 15th time, Brazilian Content, the audiovisual content export project promoted by BRAVI in partnership with the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (Apex-Brasil), is organizing the Brazilian delegation that will participate in MIPCOM, the largest entertainment market in the world, to be held between October 15 and 18. This time the group will arrive in Cannes, France, with 36 companies and 47 professionals of the sector. Among the participants, four will be living the experience for the first time - Astrolábio Stúdio, Astronauta Filmes, Manifesto Games and sBusiness.
Astrolábio, with more than 17 years of experience in artistic, musical and audiovisual productions, will take to the event the animation "Chico e Lalá", a project under development. The company already has products with partnerships in India, China and Italy. Astronauta will present “Zona de Segurança São Paulo” ("Zona SSP"), a serial fiction project for web and TV still in development, which won the Mediamorfosis Brasil pitch in 2017. Astronauta is looking for contacts in the United States, France, the United Kingdom and Germany.
Game developer Manifesto, in turn, is going to the event in search of co-production partnerships. The company runs Gepetto a platform which has game mechanics (about 30 different ones) focused on children up to 12 years old that can be customized for different IPs. sBusiness will present the preschool animated series "Bob Zoom", YouTube hit in Brazil with 870,000 subscribers and more than 473 million views.
In the previous edition, MIPCOM brought together 13,800 participants, 4,700 buyers and 2,000 exhibitors. Some producers will also participate in MIPJunior, which focuses on children's content and will be held before the main event, on October 13 and 14th.
